Seasons Market & Cafe: A Midtown Detroit Gem for Local Flavors and Community Vibes

I was so excited they opened up this market! It was truly a joy to visit with some unique items not found in other grocery stores and markets. They have local baked goods, coffee, and chai... But what makes them stand out is that they also serve incredible dishes from Baobab and Yum Village that you can heat up and eat (find in fridge section in back) as well as other local places. They have a beautiful 2nd floor dining room as well! Highly recommend!

This is a lovely neighborhood market with a great variety of local products including fresh produce. Enjoyed wine while sitting out in their outdoor space.

I visited a lovely nearby neighborhood and what an amazing and vibrant grocery and cafe I found in Midtown, Detroit. This neighborhood gem is called Seasons Market & Cafe. The staff was so friendly and attentive. I had a long conversation with a staff member named Arthur about the evolution of Neo Soul and Jazz in Detroit and abroad. Quinlyn helped with a few selections comparing a jalapeño scone with the right type of beverage. Thank you Tonya for the right selection of overnight oats, and Miss Betsy for the Mocha and Espresso Brownie recommendation. My soul smiled throughout my whole visit. So glad I came by to this place. I love their cold brew and their chickpea bowls!!! You gotta get a chickpea bowl, you won’t regret it. My roommate got me one on our way out of town and it was outstanding. They also have delicious croissants (I ate it before I took the photo) and a great variety of snacks and drinks and produce. I usually get their Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches and love them. The upstairs seating is also so great, and the outdoor seating is beautiful. Nothing but wonderful things to say about this place.

Great neighborhood market for fresh fruits, vegetables, and staples. Friendly staff will make you feel welcome. Have coffee, tea, a sandwich, or daily rice bowl special. You can even enjoy a glass of wine or beer in their upstairs lounge area. Adjoining park is a nice relaxing space as well. I will take advantage of the beauty and convenience they have brought to our neighborhood and community.

Really cute market. Has a lovely little garden on the side where you can sit outside. Great place to grab a snack, beer, wine.

This is a very nice place to hang out. The staff are very friendly, the food is great, as is the building. It has beautiful parks around it as well. Upstairs is a great are to hangout or work.
